RKB continues to strengthen its bearing technology for heavy-duty rolling mill applications through ongoing engineering development and specialized technical support.

Recently, the RKB Technical Team Unit (TTU) provided on-site assistance during the installation of multiroll bearings in a Pomini roughing mill stand for a steel producer in Guatemala.

The installation is part of the customer’s evaluation program for RKB’s new multiroll bearing design, developed specifically for high-load rolling mill applications.

Compared with conventional solutions, the multiroll design delivers improved roll drop performance, optimized roller and raceway profiles, higher load capacity, enhanced operational stability, and extended service life under severe operating conditions.

During the intervention, RKB engineers supported the mounting process and operational review to ensure correct installation practices and maximum application reliability.
