RKB spherical roller bearings are used on the countershaft of a ball mill at a Peruvian mining operation. The bearings belong to RKB’s Victory Line and support a demanding, heavy-load application.

The first pair was supplied in 2021 and remained in service for five years, meeting the expected service life. The bearings were replaced on reliability grounds, with no premature failure reported. A second pair was supplied in 2024 and was reported to be operating normally in October 2026.

Each bearing weighs 800 kg and features a reinforced internal design, a machined brass cage, and a lubrication groove and holes in the outer ring.
