Together with our Mauritian partner Scomat, we visited a local sugar producer to provide technical support for the inspection and remounting preparation of the first RKB bearing supplied in Mauritius in 2024.

The spherical roller bearing, operating in a shredder application, will be reused this year for another sugar production season.

We reviewed the maintenance requirements with the customer’s team to ensure optimal performance of the bearing and associated components.

The successful operation of our bearing in this shredder application has demonstrated its reliability and created further opportunities for the future. Senior Engineer Mahomed Chothia
