In 2024, RKB carried out a commercial and technical visit to a palm oil extraction company in Honduras to evaluate bearing opportunities in its production equipment.

Through follow-up with the customer and RKB distributor BALINERAS Y RETENEDORES S.A. de C.V. (BALRESA), RKB identified an opportunity to replace bearings from another premium manufacturer installed in a BUN LEE BL20 kernel press.

The application operates under continuous duty with high loads, high temperatures, and high levels of contamination. The selected RKB solution included:

Spherical roller bearing installed in the back block on the coupling side.

Spherical roller bearing for radial load support.

Thrust bearing for axial load support.

RKB provided technical support including measurements, fit verification, mounting procedures, and lubrication recommendations.
