After successfully solving a recurring overheating issue caused by excessive preload in the customer’s application, RKB became the bearing supplier for its industrial coffee grinders. The end users include leading global coffee brands supplying the retail, foodservice, and hospitality sectors.

We currently supply two types of double-row ball bearings for these machines.

The customer had been using premium bearing brands but continued to experience overheating. Working closely with the customer, RKB analyzed the application and optimized the bearing design to eliminate overheating and reduce noise.

The solution was validated through bench and field testing, confirming the improved performance. Following successful validation, the customer transitioned to RKB bearings. Area Manager Andrea Gozzini
